Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of AFTERMATTER (the "Service"), operated by AFTERMATTER. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and in workspaces you own, including actions of members you invite.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to create or distribute: sexual content involving minors; non-consensual intimate imagery; content that impersonates a real person in a deceptive way or uses someone’s likeness or voice without their consent; content that infringes others’ rights; malware, spam or fraud; or content that violates the policies of the AI model providers we route your requests to.

We may refuse, remove or report content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Your content and AI outputs

You keep the rights you hold in what you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process it to provide the Service, including sending inputs to AI model providers to fulfil your requests.

Outputs are generated by third-party AI models. To the extent permitted by law and by the provider’s terms, you may use outputs for any lawful purpose; commercial use requires a paid plan. Outputs may not be unique and may resemble content generated for others.

If you share a creation to Explore, you allow other users to view it and, if you enable remixing, to reuse the settings you chose to share.

5. Credits, plans and payments

Generations consume credits shown before you confirm. Credits are reserved when a generation starts and charged only when it succeeds; failed or cancelled generations return their credits.

Subscription credits renew each period and expire at its end; purchased packs are valid for 12 months; promotional credits expire as stated. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Using your results

You download your results and decide where to use them. The Service does not post to social networks or ad platforms on your behalf. You are responsible for how you use what you create, including each platform’s terms and advertising policies, and for having the rights to any face or voice you lip-sync.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party AI providers, storage, payment and email services. Their availability and model behaviour are outside our control.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". AI outputs can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable; review them before use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Stored files are removed within 30 days after deletion.

10. Changes and law

We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].
